GENEROSITY GENERATES TRANSFORMATION.
IN US. IN OUR FAMILIES. IN OUR REGION.
EVERY/ONE is a two-year initiative inviting all who call MCC home to personally own the mission God has called us to. Together, we commit to seek Him, grow our trust, and take meaningful steps of faith and generosity.
In doing so, we will beocme the individuals, and the church, that Jesus has in mind.
what is every/one?
Throughout our entire region, there are people who do not yet know the love and hope of Jesus. As we join God on His mission of redemption by making disciples, we dream of a region transformed by good news, where every person lives by faith, its known by love, and is a voice of hope.
Advancing this mission with take every one of us. A crowd will not accomplish this mission. Things get lost in a crowd. More importantly, people get lost in a crowd. Responsibility is diluted. We assume someone else will step up. Our mission is too important to leave to a crowd.
100% engagement
primary goal
We believe God is calling every person who calls MCC home to deeper trust and discipleship. This journey is more than a financial commitment, it is about spiritual engagement. We are inviting every person to prayerfully participate by connecting relationally, serving selflessly, giving generously, and taking a personal step of faith as we pursue God’s vision together.

If you’ve spent time around church, you might be familiar with a “capital campaign.” There’s a building to put up or a debt to pay down, so the church names the project, opens a separate fund for it, and asks people for a second gift, over and above whatever they already give. Two funds. Two decisions. Two piles.
We’re not doing that. Instead, EVERY/ONE is a one fund initiative. For the next two years, every dollar given to McCook Christian Church goes into one fund, for one mission. There is no separate building fund and no “over and above.” No second box to check, because there is no second box.
Why does this distinction matter? How we handle money should match what we actually believe. We want everyone to be transformed through this season, regardless of IF they currently give, or WHAT they currently give.
MCC exists to help everyone gain traction toward transformation in Jesus. Every dollar entrusted to this church serves that mission. Which means there is no such thing as non-missional giving at MCC.
Take the electric bill. Either the lights matter to the mission and we pay it, or they don’t and we ought to be sitting in the dark. There’s no third category. No maintenance pile and vision pile, no ordinary giving and exciting giving. One mission, one fund.

EVERY/ONE is a two-year journey of generosity and impact. From November 2026 through December 2028, every dollar given to MCC will help fuel our ongoing ministry, create capacity for future investments, and extend our impact into the community.
You make one commitment covering the whole span. How you fulfill it is up to you: weekly, monthly, all at once, whatever fits you best.

Our primary goal is that every single person enages in this initiative. Our secondary goal is a God-sized number. And this is intentional. It’s a big number because it’s a big mission. By nature, it will not happen without an entire community moving together on mission. The vision and commitment to our mission remain regardless of whether our number ends up short or long.
The purpose of this initiative did not start with a specific, “we are doing this,” building project in mind. It started with an honest questions of “God, what are you doing, and how are you asking us to respond?” Building plans may change, adjust expand, or contract. Our mission and vision will not. Every dollar committed in this EVERY/ONE season will go to advancing the mission. We will move at the speed of our faithful steps, following Jesus and being led by the Spirit.

Pray, commit, celebrate, give. The rest of it is between you and God, which is exactly where it belongs. There are two dates worth putting on the calendar.
Commitment Sunday // October 18
All of us together, making our two-year commitments. This is the day everything has been building toward. Come ready. Bring your family.Advance Commitment Night // October 11
For anyone who wants to go first. If God settles it with you before the 18th, come make your commitment a week early and help lead the rest of us into it. -
Commit what you can and let God sort out the rest.
We have no interest in you giving money you don’t have. We also watched God do things in lean seasons that He doesn’t seem to do in comfortable ones. That might look like a small number given faithfully. It might look like selling something. It might look like a commitment you can’t fully explain on paper yet.
Whatever it is, we want you in this with us.

If you are currently seeking to pay off debt, we commend you for that. And you should continue to do so. We would be happy to help you on that journey and/or recommend resources that might help you. Being in debt, however, does not have to prevent someone from giving. Giving isn’t about what God wants from you; rather, it’s about what God wants for you. So it can be our joy and privelege to give at all times.
Please contact Sandy at sandy@mccookchristian.church if you need assistance with a plan to get out of debt. We would be honored to help!
